I always forget the settings for Globe when I reset my phone to factory settings, so decided to post it up here and share it with other Globe subscribers.
Most sites on the web will tell you to send an SMS message like GO [phone model] and send to 2351. It will reply with an instruction to setup your mobile phone internet connectivity. This will work also. But, for those who needs a more step by step type of guide, here it is.
1. go to settings
2. go to wireless and network settings
3. go to mobile network settings
4. select access point names
5. create new apn
6. set Name to myGlobe Inet
7. set APN to http.globe.com.ph
8. set APN type to default
9. Save
10. go back to mobile network settings
11. select Network preferences
12. click GSM/WCDA (WCDMA preferred)
13. make sure you wifi is turned off
14. make sure you have a strong signal
15. enable Data enabled
16. Done! try surfing the net, Facebook and other applications
I received an email from Cebu Pacific Airlines about the new promo called “Love at Fares Sight!”. Cebu Pacific Valentine's promo is up to February 15, 2012 (P1.43 – 1 Peso and 43 centavos).
The travel period is from June 1 to September 30, 2012. Just go to www.cebupacificair.com to book a flight.
All domestic destinations are covered by the said promo. The 1 peso and 43 centavos is only the base fare. Government fees, taxes and fuel surcharges will be added to the total. Nevertheless, it is still a great promo next to their piso fare.
