There are several ways you can alter the css layout or skin of your friendster profile.

1. Use the default css layouts given by Friendster itself.
2. Get a customize css layout from your favorite Friendster layouts web site then paste it on the custom CSS layout box.
3. Use an overlay layout with your own html code and css layout which will entirely change the look and feel of your friendster profile.
4. Use a crossover layout then insert your custom css or skinlayout in your java script.


For methods 3 and 4 above there are some tricks you need to do to get your exact results.

1. Javascript or CSS linker. It may sound very technical and you need to call a programmer. Well that is NOT true, you just simply copy the code change some text and paste the edited code on your About me or Who I want to meet box.

2. Patience. Yup because you will do a lot of trial and error editing your friendster skin.

3. Do not always edit your profile. Once you've got your beloved friendster css layout or skin running smoothly. Avoid editing or changing the linker because Friendster programmers sees to it that they are doing their job and keep on filtering those unwanted and malicious codes that may slow down their system.

I just found out there are lots of Friendster users that are looking for ways to have their own personalized layouts. I think to make it really unique here are some steps to follow:

1. You will need a photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop.
2. Some personal photos or images that you want to put in your Friendster layout.
3. Learn some simple and basic image manipulation. A lot of adobe tutorials are available online.
4. Put out some creativity and originality. You can play with fonts and colors.
5. Upload your edited photos and images on free image hosting sites like Photobucket.
6. You can use your regular Friendster layout generators then just replace the image links with your cool upload images. This is easy to figure out.
7. Again Trial and Error. But be patient who know you'll be creating personalized friendster layouts for your friends.
