Most Globe GPRS/MMS settings will be sent to your mobile phones (Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and Samsung) once you put your new Globe sim card. But sometimes this doesn't happen, you have to set it up manualy or call for assistance and request for GPRS/MMS settings to activate them. For my mobile phone (a good old Sony Ericsson K310i) I tried both. I called Globe customer service several times requested GPRS and MMS activation. But the problem is they don't have the electronic settings for my Sony Ericsson K310i. Either my mobile phone is kinda old or because it was bought in Taiwan. The Globe customer service that helped me is really willing to help me activate my GPRS and MMS. She patiently gave me the step by step instructions to activate my Globe GPRS/MMS setting. Unfortunately, after the long conversation I can't still get my GPRS/MMS working. The next day I decided to search the world wide web on "How to set Sony Ericsson GRPS/MMS settings". Here are the steps that I did for my Sony Ericsson K310i:
1. Go to Menu then Settings.
2. Select the Connectivity settings
3. Select Data comm then Data Accounts
4. Create a New account
5. When asked for Account Type. select GPRS Data
6. Type "myglobe connect" for new account name
7. Press continue and input these New GPRS Data
